About the Baseball Camps:
The Baseball Skills Camps are 5 day camps devoted to all aspects of the game of baseball. Under the guidance of the Padre Coaching Staff, participants will work alongside current Serra players to see what it takes to become a successful high school baseball player.
Focusing on individual skills and team drills, each camp will cover defensive techniques, pitching mechanics, and base running skills, as well as discussion of the important mental aspects of the game - attitude, work ethic, discipline, pride and teamwork - qualities that make up the very successful Padre Baseball Program. Additionally there will be a daily focus on hitting, with participants breaking down the fundamentals of the swing to begin understanding how to improve as hitters. On-field live hitting will be included as will extensive work in Serra's batting cage.
